The staff! The hotel was clean and what I expected but the staff was not. Great customer service from the Hotel staff. The room was clean. Good location, liked having refrigerator and microwave in room. Very convenient to public transit. Excellent landmarks nearby like Broadway and Central Park enhanced family bonding.

Found everything I needed - food, business facilities, and entertainment within walking distance. Enjoyed the sea bass and the cozy lobby. Late check-out was a bonus. The fitness center was handy, but I preferred exploring the nearby European-style cafes. WiFi was reliable, and the leafy art added a nice touch of color. Grabbed a bite at the steakhouse and soaked in the bustling atmosphere of Fifth Avenue. A well-rounded stay with a touch of indulgence. A true Irish at heart, I lingered at the quaint cafes like an afternoon in Dublin.

The views from my room at Hilton Garden Inn were surprisingly charming, offering a unique perspective of the city with glimpses of the alley and the bustling activity below, including a quaint water tower and construction debris netting. The 24-hour gym was a convenient amenity, and the friendly staff made my stay particularly enjoyable, always ready to assist with any queries or requests.

The 2 Queen bed room was not ideal for our group of 3 adults, as there was inadequate storage for our clothes and the pillows were a bit flat.

Staying at Hilton Garden Inn New York Central Park South-Midtown West was a convenient stopover during my trip, as it's located only 15 km away from LaGuardia Airport. The hotel's close proximity to the B, D, and E underground lines at the 7th Avenue station made it easy for me to travel around the city and access transportation options.

This inconsistency in room availability caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience for my family and me.

The room was exceptionally clean and perfectly sized, equipped with a fridge and microwave which was great for us as we got caught up in storm Jonas and stuck in the room for a while. The coffee machine, fridge, and microwave oven safe were very convenient and made our stay comfortable.

The check-in process was disorganized and inconvenient. Our room had been given away despite providing our flight arrival information, resulting in a hassle of having to switch rooms the next day, impacting our plans for the day.

My recent business trip at Hilton Garden was made more enjoyable by the well-equipped 24-hour gym available to guests. With a variety of weight and cardio machines, as well as free weights, I was able to maintain my fitness routine throughout my stay, which was greatly appreciated.

The room was so cozy and had a homey vibe that made it really relaxing. As a bike rider, I appreciated the convenience of having a microwave and mini-refrigerator to store my post-ride snacks. The comfy bed and 40-inch LED TV were the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring the city.

I wished there were more power outlets for charging my gadgets.

It was truly an excellent stay in February 2020, the hotel met every demand. The staff were superbly friendly and our room was cozy with a terrace and 2 queen size beds, for instance.

The elevators were extremely slow, and there was always a crowd waiting to use them. It was frustrating having to wait 15-20 minutes in the lobby and on our floor just to use the elevator.

Small hotel with friendly service and unbeatable location close enough to eateries close by as well as Times Square. The room was adequate and cozy. All in all everything was very good, even so we had not very clean bathroom. The stay itself was good, the staff was fabulous and available.

I recently stayed at Hilton Garden for a leisure trip with my family. The location was fantastic, just a few blocks away from Central Park, Times Square, and Broadway. The staff was attentive and check-in was quick. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, with microwaves and mini-fridges. There were also plenty of restaurants and a 24-hour Subway nearby. The hotel even helped us arrange a private van to the airport. a great stay.

My wife and I stayed in a King Room on the 30th floor for 9 nights. The view was breathtaking, especially for those not accustomed to city settings like this. The staff, from cleaning to reception and doormen, were exceptionally friendly. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Having a fridge and coffee maker in the room was a convenient touch for quick snacks and breakfasts. The hotel's location, just a few minutes away from multiple Subway stations, made exploring the city a breeze. Considering the prices in midtown, Hilton Garden Inn Central Park South offered great value.

The hotel was spotless, exceptionally friendly, had attentive staff from another receptionist. The rooms were with a view, appreciated it. The location was best possible, only 5 minutes walk to The Museum of Modern Art.

The dining experience at the hotel's steakhouse was a delightful surprise. The seafood was so buttery and melt-in-your-mouth delicious; it made me feel like I was on a culinary adventure through the sea. The Chilean sea bass, salmon, and yellowfin tuna were truly exceptional.

Desk and chair occupy too much space.

The hotel was in a great location for exploring the city. It was easy to walk to many of the main attractions, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or problems that we had. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities that we needed for our stay.

There were a few issues that detracted from our overall experience. The air conditioning in our room wasn't working properly, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably.

We stayed at Garden Inn for 3 nights and it was fantastic. The location was the biggest highlight for us as it was walking distance from many tourist attractions and the underground. Our room was extremely comfortable with a big walk-in shower, comfy bed, and great pillows. The staff, especially the porter, were friendly and helpful. our stay was very enjoyable and we highly recommend Garden Inn.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, as it is situated on a lovely street in central Manhattan. I loved being able to walk to Central Park, which was just a stone's throw away. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and constantly asked if they could help or be of service. The room was spacious and had all the amenities I needed, including a mini-bar and sitting area. The bed was comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. The hotel also offers room service, which was a nice touch. the comfort and quality of this place exceeded my expectations.

The location is fantastic. Right next to Broadway, 10 minutes on foot to the heart of Times Square, the other way around as close to Central Park, and many other iconic points. The hotel service is wonderful. The beds are comfortable.

The room was dark, and there were not enough lamps and lighting to illuminate it comfortably. The heating was terribly noisy and not very powerful. To take a shower in hot water you had to let off 5 minutes of icy water and wait for it to heat up. There is no brush to clean it next to the toilet. There were three lifts, one of which was often broken. It was hard to get into the elevator and sometimes you have to wait up to 10 minutes until one of them arrives, which is tiring when you live on one of the upper floors. Breakfast is expensive and not good - very modest choice, no vegetables or fruit. Only fat, bread and sugar, if you can describe it that way (which is maybe and normal in American hotels, but as for me, drama). This was not a problem, as there are hundreds of restaurants in the area serving better and much cheaper breakfast.

I absolutely adored the cozy, warm ambiance of the lobby, with its trendy cream-colored chairs and a faux fireplace. It was a delightful spot to relax and people-watch, perfect for senior folks like me. The hotel's accessibility for senior people was commendable, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The only thing I would ask for to enhance the vacation experience for senior people is more assistance from staff for carrying luggage, especially as we may not be as strong as we used to be.

I really didn't like anything to say, the location was great.

The hotel is located in a prime area, very close to all major tourist attractions such as Times Square and Central Park. It is also just off Broadway, which is great for theatre lovers. Some rooms have coffee machines, and they are of decent size. The staff is generally friendly and accommodating.

Sometimes, the staff can come across as rude and unprofessional, and the elevators can be slow, resulting in long wait times.

The hotel's location was ideal for our family's trip, with iconic New York landmarks just a stone's throw away. We enjoyed exploring the vibrant Rockefeller Center and its amazing shops, along with the dazzling lights and entertainment at Times Square. It truly made our stay unforgettable by being in the heart of the action.

My wife says that the hotel could benefit from having more entertainment options for kids, like a dedicated children's play area.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, really close to the subway and within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions. The rooms are clean and modern, with a recently redone bathroom and a nice all-glass shower. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. There are also several bars nearby for those looking for some nightlife. Additionally, being very close to Central Park is a major advantage, allowing guests to easily explore the beautiful park.

Waiting a little long for the elevator

We had a delightful stay at Hilton Garden. The hotel's central location was perfect for exploring the theater district, Times Square, Hell's Kitchen, and Central Park. The AC was incredibly effective, which was a relief during the hot and humid August weekend. Our room had a wonderful view of the city and the rate was very good for Manhattan. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we particularly enjoyed the coffee in the foyer every morning. There were plenty of restaurants, cafes, and delis within a block or two of the hotel, making it convenient to grab a bite to eat.

The hotel could improve on a few aspects. The Double Room with Two Double Beds was a bit small, leaving limited floor space to walk around.

Small room for 3 and 4 stars. Had booked a room with 2 beds for 3 people and first night only one bed available. Room changed the next day. No friendly entrance hall. small when you come in.

Moreover, this place also has leisure facilities like a jacuzzi and fitness studio that helped me decompress from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This hotel is a hidden gem tucked away on a quiet street in central Manhattan, making it the perfect location for exploring the city. I loved how close it was to the bustling theaters and attractions, while still providing a peaceful retreat. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that every need was met. I chose this hotel for a business session and found it ideal for work. The fully equipped meeting rooms and 24-hour business center were perfect for my needs. The fitness center was also a great way to recharge after a long day.

The only service I missed for my work was a dedicated co-working space within the hotel.

The location was straight fire, just a few steps away from Rockefeller Center and all the dope shops. We also hit up Radio City Music Hall and it was off the hook! The staff was chill and the room had everything we needed, including a fridge and microwave. It was the bomb!

The only thing that would've made our stay even better would be if the hotel had a sick rooftop party spot for us young party animals to turn up and keep the vibes going. But other than that, it was totally dope!

The rooms are nice, it's pretty clean, it's expensive but worth it for the location and amenities it has.

Not all the staff is so kind and effective (as I had read in comments before going), the hotel has 31 floors and 3 elevators for everyone, you have to be patient.
